A wonderful off-site course and vacation at Stanford from July 21 to July 29, 2025, organized by Dr. Chao from the MPM Department of NTHU. This is the third and also last time to Stanford. I participated in this trip twice, because I think I don’t have any opportunity to visit Stanford by myself in the future and also show support to Dr. Chao for his creativity and hard work.

We have been to many places this time and took lots of memorable photos as well, such as Stanford Visitor Center, Hoover Tower, Memorial Hall, Memorial Church, and Memorial Auditorium, Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center, Lincoln Park, Fisherman’s Wharf, Twin Peaks, Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco Cable Car and City Hall, Oracle Park, and so on.

I met several Mexican friends while swimming, talked about many topics, and they invited me to have some Mexican food and drinks, I didn’t accept their invitation because I usually don’t have late night meals. I also met a family, one of their daughters suffering from nerve atrophy, taking vacation near Stanford University. I gave some advices to her mom about how to take good care about their daughter, they gratefully thanked me a lot.
